Silly me, I was expecting a positive reaction as in we would get dug into them not that we would panic like a bunch of school girls every time we had the ball.
I won't have that crap about little West Ham against the billionaires. It's eleven against eleven we knew exactly what to expect and Everton played them off the park.
This was a chance for Bilic to prove his tactical nous and what he had learned from two heavy defeats and the answer is fuck all to both questions

To be honest the main thing for me is that we actually give them a fucking game. There's no shame losing to a team like City but there is shame losing when you don't even put up a fight.
I think they will score but I think Big Andy will cause them fucking havoc, they are less than solid at the back and if Antonio endlessly running at them I can see a pen or two in it for us tonight.
What price Noble first goalscorer?!

According to Bilic (check the weds paper thread), city are dangerous between our lines and we gave them too much space there last time.
He's mainly right, but we also didn't defend properly.
If we want to keep them in front of us, then one of our players needs to be very disciplined and work up and down the middle, plugging holes between defence and midfield and midfield and attack. Could be Obiang or Noble.
Most likely means we would only play one up front.
I think they have plenty to worry about if our team gel, there is enough menace in our attack to worry anybody on their day.
With Carroll in the form he is, if he gets the service and support we can beat anybody.

We have to close them down and hassle them off the ball. When that happens they don't like it and resort to dirty tricks. It's the only way to beat them.

Yeah I think we will win as well. City are nothing special the last time we just rolled over and died. Without the stroppy Frenchman we are much more united as a team. Carroll is on fire.
